About Ross: With over twenty-five years of experience in show productions, Ross brings an insider’s knowledge to technical theater. As a longtime resident of the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis, he engineered world premieres of Arthur Miller’s Resurrection Blues, the musical Crowns, Caroline or Change, and brought HMS Pinafore to PBS. Ross spearheaded technological integration during the construction of numerous arts facility construction projects. He has been a guest lecturer in both high schools and colleges across the country and participates on various manufacturers’ new technology advisory boards. With over a decade in the IT field, including such highlights as being the Senior Systems Administrator for the Guthrie Theater, and serving as the Networking Engineer for the New York Philharmonic. Outside of his passion for technology, he also has a "burning" passion for being an entertainer. Focused primarily on side-show and circus arts, he is part of the headlining act at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival, currently holds a Guinness World Record in the art of Fire Eating, and has performed throughout the country showcasing his talents of fire manipulation in all manners of show. Whether it's working under the pressure of a time clock for beating a record or helping clients through a crucial technology outage, his unique abilities to see the end goal and not stopping until it's reached will give you comfort to know your infrastructure is cared for.
